Annual Review of River Stewardship

Boulder, CO – Gravity Renewables Inc., an investor-backed owner, operator, and developer of small hydroelectric power plants in the United States has released its Riverwatcher Report.

The nontraditional annual report outlines work completed in 2019 to protect and care for riverine environments where Gravity works.  This year’s edition highlights Gravity’s salmon education and restoration efforts, improvements to water conveyance systems and a growing portfolio of Low Impact Certified projects.

“Companies are increasingly embracing sustainability reporting along with their financial results,” said Chief Executive Officer Ted Rose, “This is our version.  It is tailored to the unique aspects of our business and embraces the responsibility to the rivers we all share.”

Riverwatcher Report 2020 focuses on the areas of science, strength and solutions, complementing the areas of shared knowledge and stewardship, river management and public safety highlighted last year.  It also profiles a new fish viewing portal now open to the public at Gravity’s Newport plant located on Vermont’s Clyde River.
