Mr. Shaw is a pioneer of the North American cable industry, having built Shaw Communications (NYSE: SJR; TSX: SJR.B) into one of Canada’s leading network and content companies, with more than 3.3 million customers, 14,000 employees and a market capitalization of $11.5 billion. Mr. Shaw also brings to Gravity Renewables considerable experience as a director and chairman of numerous private and public companies, including six years as Chairman of Suncor Energy (NYSE: SU), one of the world’s largest energy companies.
